What is Open-Innovation?
The central idea behind open-innovation is that in a world of widely distributed information, organisations cannot afford to rely entirely on their own knowledge, but instead would benefit from sharing ideas and knowledge with other entities. Together, this collaboration will facilitate major advances far beyond what any one entity could hope to achieve by itself.
