15th Feb 2007 - First Professional Diploma Conferrings at the Innovation Value Institute, NUI, Maynooth

Over 20 senior IT executives were this week conferred with Professional Diplomas at a graduation ceremony held at the Innovation Value Institute in NUI Maynooth, Ireland on the 15th of February.

The Professional Diploma in Managing IT for Business Value was the first such course to be given by the Institute, which was launched in October of last year by Ireland's Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Micheál Martin and Intel's CTO Justin Rattner.

The Professional Diploma was attended by Chief Information Officers and senior IT Managers from a broad range of multinational companies.  Through lectures, case studies, and sharing of practical strategies, the course provided formal training in how to establish, quantify and manage IT business value in their own organisations.
